Fraport-ForumThe Fraport-Forum is a very special event venue. Its unique location in the bridge complex between Terminal 1 and the long-distance train station makes it easily accessible by plane, train and automobile. Additional airport-themed offers open up further event possibilities. Characterised by its highly unusual architectural design, the Fraport-Forum consists of 1,350 sq/m of floor space, including a 160-sq/m conference room. The walls and installations are outfitted with a total of 11 monitors, which are ideal for displaying pertinent information. The white, permanently installed walls may be used as projection surfaces or room dividers, for example. The venue’s conference room is well suited for meetings of up to 100 persons and features appropriate seating options for conferences, seminars, symposia, lectures, fashion shows, award ceremonies, informal get-togethers, small fairs, exhibitions and more. The location has been officially certified to hold events of up to 199 participants.Frankfurt Press ClubSituated in the very elegant Palais Livingston, the function rooms of the Frankfurt Press Club (FCP) provide the perfect setting for events of every variety. The venue’s four conference rooms are ideal for holding business meetings, press conferences, workshops and lectures. The vaulted cellar may also be used; it is well suited for small-scale cultural performances like readings or cabaret shows. All of the venue’s rooms are equipped with the most modern conference technology (sound system, beamer, WLAN) and offer various seating arrangements for meeting customer requirements. The ground floor is home to Restaurant “Herr Franz”, a popular culinary meeting place and at the same time one of the official catering partners of the FCP. The FCP’s clubroom is also located on the ground floor, tucked away in a side wing. Offering a small bar, it is an excellent location for hosting informal events in particular. The floor-to-ceiling terrace windows offer fabulous views of the building’s courtyard, a great place to sit during summertime.Hotelsibis budget Frankfurt City OstOpened in June of 2016, the ibis budget Frankfurt City Ost is centrally situated in Frankfurt’s East End district, between Ostbahnhof and the River Main. The brand-new hotel disposes over 159 guest-rooms with “Sweet Bed by ibis budget” double and twin beds. Each guest-room has a shower/WC, desk, flat-screen TV and free WIFI, while the bountiful breakfast buffet leaves no culinary desires unfulfilled. Global DestinationSustainability IndexIncreased sustainability in the meetings and event industry is the central theme of the world’s very first sustainability index, the so-called GDS Index. We at the Frankfurt Convention Bureau also feel very strongly about this subject, which is why we have decided to take part in this scheme, inviting the comparison with other international congress and conference destinations. The GDS Index proposes to offer an overview of how sustainable and environment-friendly cities around the world actually are. A simple benchmarking method then serves to draw the comparisons. Primary focus is on congress locations, convention bureaus and MICE partners of the respective cities. At the moment, Frankfurt is ranked 12th of 21 destinations. Together with our local and regional partners, we look to increase our efforts so as to continue climbing towards the top spots of this ranking.Special Events
Museum Embankment Festival (24th to 28th August 2016)Europe's largest cultural festival features countless arts and crafts stalls, live music, culinary highlights from around the world and Frankfurt's fabulous museum row. A special festival button offers visitors low-price admission to participating museums.Rheingau Wine Festival (21st to 09th September 2016)Rheingau winemakers annually come to Frankfurt to present their latest vintages at the "Freßgass'", the city's popular culinary mile and bustling pedestrian zone lined with restaurants, delicatessens and shops of every variety.More than 600 red, white and sparkling wines from the famous Rheingau region are available for tasting at some 30 wine stalls, including everything from the finest vintages to light and fruity summer wines. Wines made from alternative grape varieties are also on offer, alongside the dominant Rheingau Rieslings. To complement this fabulous wine selection, the eateries of the Freßgass' traditionally offer accompanying cuisine at specially erected food stalls.

AM NIEDERWALD - DENKMAL AN GENUSSEnjoy the beautiful views of the time-honoured wine town of Rüdesheim, the fabled River Rhine and the region’s rolling vineyards while meeting and dining only a short walk from Niederwald Temple and Niederwald Memorial. This brand-new restaurant awaits its guests with traditional German and Italian hospitality, friendly and efficient service and fresh regional produce.
