The live nativity with its animals, as well as a grand Christmas fire and sparkle show by the Lumen company are on the programme, not to forget, of course, a chance to meet Father Christmas. Don’t miss the inaugural event with the Martinez Brothers, Reas and Madnax. Upon your arrival at the Club d'Altitude, you will be surprised by a tasting menu concocted by our Chef Jean-Luc Daniel. He will unveil the mystery of the winter 2016-2017 menu during a culinary show in music. You will then move on to The Club where the Martinez Brothers, Reas and Madnax will make you dance the night away on electronic sounds, with an incredible 360° view on the Pennine Alps. Info

The Violettes, Cabane de Bois and Plaine Morte sectors remain open for skiers. The National Express chairlift will open at the end of this week allowing visitors to take the Nationale to Barzettes. The Montana-Arnouva cable car will be open from 23 December only for pedestrians and Cry d’Er will open for Christmas – the Cry d’Er and Snowpark pistes will depend on snow conditions, as will access to the Ski Kindergarten at Arnouva. The Arnouva – Cry d'Er chairlift will open for pedestrians from 24 December so that clubbers can get to the Cry d'Er Club d'Altitude. It’ll also be possible to go mountain biking and zorbing (downhill in an enormous plastic ball) at Arnouva.
Skiing conditions are excellent in the Violettes sector and current snow conditions allow you to ski from the Plaine Morte Glacier to the bottom of the Violettes pistes.

3 mountain bike routes (Briesses Bike, Muraz Bike, Villages Bike) will be open for the pleasure of riders. Hiking fans can enjoy the walking trails open between the valley and 1,200m, as well as exploring the Grand Bisse de Lens, the Bisse Neuf, the Bisse du Sillonin and Varone. Info

For its traditional New Year Gala Concert, Crans-Montana Classics welcomes a seductive and surprising 29 year old German pianist, Joseph Moog, accompanied by the prestigious Orchestre des Cameristi from the Scala in Milan, and directed by the young and brilliant 23 year old, Ilyich Rivas. Following on from its exhibition about the Berlin Wall, the Fondation Pierre Arnaud in Lens will be presenting a selection of 81 17th century paintings from the Museum of Art and History in Geneva, in its new exhibition of Flemish and Dutch paintings. Info

La Plage
After a few renovations, the Restaurant de la Plage, which has been taken over by Jelmer Bignell, is opening its doors again. On the menu: a Brasserie style seasonal menu at reasonable prices. A meal, aperitif, coffee ? This little chalet located in a magical spot offers impressive views over Lake Moubra and Crans-Montana.
Le Cervin
2016 has seen a handover at Le Cervin in Vermala. The new formula proposes a lounge bar, which will be an unmissable après-ski venue. The restaurant will offer traditional dishes. There will be local cuisine with woodfire raclette, a fondue with three different types of Alpine cheese and also barbeques to delight those whose tastebuds appreciate authentic Valais dishes.
Le 66
Le 66 is a new bar-lounge-restaurant situated in the heart of Crans. It offers from 11h to 2h a mediterranean food in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Le Rawyl
Respecting basic savours and produce, this young chef aims to present a modern bistronomy menu, with great flavours inherited from his mother and grandmothers’ cooking.
La Maison
La Maison is a restaurant and guesthouse which allows you to experience a new culinary experience in cocooning surroundings by the fireside. By reservation only. Opening on 20 January 2017. Guest rooms will be open from 23.12.2016.
Crans Ambassador
Le Crans Ambassador has everything gourmets expect, with four different areas : Texture restaurant, the 180° Bar Lounge, Terrasse Valaisanne and the Carnotzet by Hublot. Taken over by a young Italian couple, le Portofino offers fragrant typical cuisine from Liguria. Savour their good Italian cooking, pizzas and also Britanny crêpes.
