I just wanted to inform you about Swedens the first Stockholm Medical Tourism Conference 8-9 may 2014.
We will invite from Sweden state Counties, Social Security System, Polititians, Doctors, Hospitals, press, travel trade, about 30-40 from Sweden. And visitors from abroad like you, about 30-40. Total 80-100 participants.
Speaches, and B2B meetings and dinner together after day 1.
All included in 600 Euros.
Medical Tourism is a relatively new term in Sweden,
but not internationally. As of October 25, 2013, owing to
directive 2011/24/EU coming into effect, the underlying
concept has become more visible than ever before.
What are the needs of the Swedish patients?
What are the objectives and resources of the
Swedish healthcare system stakeholders?
What can international providers and operators
contribute for the benefit of all involved?

All parties with reservations will be contacted for registration.
How to participate
Medical tourism introduction, the Swedish healthcare system and medical
tourism, contact points, referring patients abroad, the patient journey,
risks in cross-border healthcare, hospitals/clinics and their services.

Suggestions on/requests for topics are welcome. Parties interested in
delivering a presentation will need to submit a short summary in advance.
